The Greater Chicago Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is pleased to welcome Kathy Enstrom, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Chicago field office of the IRS Criminal Investigation unit. SAC Enstrom will discuss the unit, COVID-19-related fraud, and the use of data analytics in IRS investigations.
SAC Enstrom’s division enjoys one of the highest conviction rates of all federal law enforcement agencies, and her work exposing tax frauds is both timely and relevant. In this virtual presentation, the first woman to run Chicago’s IRS Criminal Investigation unit will share insights into her investigative process and how it has been affected by the pandemic. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A opportunity. David Kalat will moderate the panel.
